this manga was incredibly frustrating to read and I didn’t enjoy it AT ALL

First things first I have to say that I don’t mind NTR in romance. Unlike 98% of readers it’s not a turn off for me, in fact I’m down for any type of taboo and problematic themes as long as it’s handle the right way.

However, this manga was incredibly frustrating to read and I didn’t enjoy it AT ALL. The uke was so annoying and made it difficult to enjoy the story or to like him.

But my biggest issue was how the author chickened out. I don’t know why the mangaka was hellbent on trying to show that despite being the biggest slut and a serial homewrecker, the uke was still a « good guy », « a good friend » « responsible », « innocent » etc…

I mean, Reo confessed to his only friend Shige that he tried to sleep with his boyfriend but Shige’ bf turned him down. Shige then said « you could have not just told me, but you did and apologized too. You really are a good kid. I can’t stay mad at you » WTF !!!! Another example was when Shige’ bf was ok with setting up his straight twin with Reo right after they found Reo sucking D in a gangbang. He knew Reo was a homewrecker and even tried to steal him from Shige, but was still ok with setting up Reo with his brother. Smh

She even went as far as trying to justify his disgusting behavior with a sad back story.

Reo was scummy, she should have acknowledged that and showed that even scum can find love. I have read countless of psychological or drama BL with horrible characters who still ended up in a relationship and that’s fine as long as the author don’t try to find excuses or backtrack.
