this is a thoughtful and poignant manga. very reflective, which is something usually overlooked in many other series. the main character is unusual indeed; yet as the story progresses he changes and it is through this change that the story draws its depth. the art is mediocre, but the plot more than makes up for this.

Really unique art style and great story make this a really good read since this is the first seinen series i'v read it makes me want to check out more from this genre

Don't be turned off by the title. This is an interesting and engaging story with great characters, and an important message. I can't really say much of anything without spoiling the story, but I can say that even though the title and story include masturbation, this is a serious story that goes far beyond the juvenile trappings of it's title. It flows well, and has a great ending that left me with a smile.

I think this is the first manga I've encountered that was drawn in this style, but after a little time I got used to it. The story is great, something that gives you plenty to think about.

first thing i've got to say
It got better after chapter 27-ish...

before that... it was a bit disturbing, and i would be lying if i said i hadn't kept wondering WHY the hell i was reading this...
but around after the main character realizes his mistakes, the story becomes more pleasant.
The story around now is not bad, i actually look forward to the next chapter.

A great manga detailing adolescent life. As many have stated, it is a manga focusing on human relationships, with an in-depth look at the character as he struggles to grow up. Catcher in the Rye plays an influential (not so subtle) influence on the manga, albeit a bit more upbeat. I enjoyed the pacing and would definitely recommend this manga to anyone who is interested in social and psychological reads.

A rather good one if you ask me,
but
you need to be ripe enough to actually
see what good is in it. A story of growth
which is not like those typical ones where an
ordinary school romance is portrayed and after that
there's a time skip of 5 years and a lookout
of the happy future and everybody drowns in nostalgia.
This is a good story of struggle and enlightenment.
I am pleased and it has been hard to please me for
a while.

This is one eff-ed up manga, and it's not because of the masturbation. The protagonist's thoughts and emotions are so gritty and raw that they, not the masturbation, are what make me uncomfortable reading this manga. It's a bit depressing to read, but that just makes the story that much more engaging.

this manga is really good 😮

it shows a real life. (they're way too young for smokin' but yeah the bullyin' at that age is horrible).

The guy is like all the kids at their age, they shake their thing almost everyday and I'm sure they have always wanted to shake it in a girl's bathroom.LOL, the manga's pretty funny xD
