Okay, so I'm a bit of a sadist, but one cliche that I tend to enjoy in romance is where the heroine is treated badly by, or abandoned by, the hero. Then she ends up seriously injured or even dead, and he's filled with regret over how he treated or neglected her. I know I'm awful, lol, I just like seeing the guy feel wracked with guilt over how he treated the heroine. I prefer romance to be the main focus of the story, and I don't like it when it's a secondary girl who is injured and ends up making the lead guy feel guilty. Any suggestions? I've read a lot of the big ones, like 100% Perfect Girl (I love pretty much anything by Wann!) c4bj
