The FL is good at everything. That's it. However, she is just so friggin dumb that it's frustrating. I don't see why the ML is so in love with her (and he's... lowkey kind of terrifyingly obsessed). She just keeps putting herself down. There's no appeal to a character when the whole time she just goes "ooohhh... I don't deserve this... I don't deserve that... I don't deserve anything........." and... 3y6o6g
Honestly, everything just falls into place TOO perfectly. The plot is all over the place and it's hard to keep up. I know I sometimes complain about plots that are too singular, but this webtoon showcases several unsolved plots in every episode. The FL is also suddenly just liked by everyone for no reason. Her dad, sure, but the ML? No explanation for this either.
There is also no chemistry...
Just a cliche feel-good story that feels like a knockoff of "My Farm by the Palace". The pacing is awful. Some parts feel too fast, like how we are given no explanation on the storyline with her family. Some parts feel awfully long and drawn out, like her life in the village with the ML. There is ZERO conflict, and even if there is any, it's resolved ultra quickly. The characters are bland and...
I don't know what else to say about this other than it's not... As good as it could be. It has a good premise, and it definitely has the potential to be good, but it somehow fails all the setup the plot has been given.
- Aristine wants to make money and be independent of Tarkan's riches--why? There is no deeper reason, and maybe she doesn't need a deep reason, but I feel like this story has...
Don't know how to say this without spoiling it, but if you were wondering about end game,
YES, THIS IS INCEST depending on how you look at it. The end game is the black-haired "stepbrother" with no blood relations to her, but she was led to believe he's her brother and grew up with him as her brother. Don't know if it's just me but it came across like he was grooming her too since it seems like...
Everyone is tortured and abused. The FL loves to jump into danger and put herself in the hands of ab(s). If you don't mind/like this type of stuff, maybe this is for you. Just continuous torture and abuse. The story hasn't really gone anywhere in the last few episodes idk why I read this until 90 or so chapters LOL
I feel like I've just forgotten a lot of the earlier episodes and that's why I'm saying this, but I'm starting to lose the ML LOL. Idk what he's doing, or where he's going, or why most of the time. I asked a friend who said the manhwa does cut a lot of the novel out, mainly because there's just so much stuff and the novel's pacing is too slow. Since I never read it idk if that'll make this story...
idk, I read up to 40ish episodes and this is a nothing burger. I wouldn't recommend if you're looking for anything fun/serious. No conflicts, and you don't really root for any of the ML. They all just seem to take interest in her randomly. The pacing is also really weird. All her girlfriend/roommates and their family also really like her but I personally don't see her charm.
There is one scene...
I'm only 40 something episodes in (closer to 50), and so far it's a pretty good mystery webtoon. If you like mystery, this one's for you. My only gripe with this is...
That the 2 guys seem to be set up as the male leads, but they're both equally horrible. Eunha, at the very beginning of the story, vows to herself that she will never fall in love again after getting betrayed by Taeyang, but then...
I'm a fan of historical action, and I've read about 50 chapters of this, and it's basically a harem. Lots of action, but it feels too boring. The character is not strong enough for an enemy -> another character helps him -> he beats the enemy and steals their items -> he levels up -> meets a stronger enemy -> rinse and repeat.
Also, the artist has same face syndrome (or whatever they call it...
I'm on chapter 60 and the story keeps straying further away from its title LOL. I honestly went into this thinking it'll be a "modern medicine can do things magic can't" type of story but....
The main character is such a poorly written character. As others have said in this comment section, he says one thing and then does another. There is no consistency in his character. There is no drive...
Finished the first 51 chapters and it's pretty good so far.
This story depends HEAVILY on stereotypes though, since this is a story about a global battle league. It's your typical MC gets stronger by leveling up, collecting items, and doing quests and stuff, but the pacing is okay so far. Not frustrating to read, the episodes aren't too short but not too long that it gets boring either.
If I could...
The protag's sole goal is to kill herself. ML seems to be one of the kids she's raising (there's a lot). Nothing too interesting so far, but just slightly creepy the more the kids make it obvious that they love her and not in a "i love hanging out with this aunt" kind of way...
Later on, in chapter 40 or 50-something, a mysterious character claims to have "made" our MC. She seems to realize that...
