Absolute exaggerations and wholesomely gutted

Before coming to this manga, I already have a taste of Munko's sense of humour from My Home: everything is a crazy, over-the-top antic in any sort of situations in everyday life, in happy notes, or even sad ones. And I like what I have thus far a lot. So, I fall head-over-heel for this gag of Miyoko's everyday life.

The thing is that, although they behave in these silly ways, by no mean what they have gone through together have had no impact on their onward fixtures. Every chapter, there is so much laugh. At the same time there is something to be weighted down. It's just Munko's style to make jokes towards the end. Because it is a way of life, not necessarily yours but maybe Munko's message of we just have to keep moving. And why must ones suffer from heart-break all the time? In reality, yes, it might be extremely difficult to have these scenes re-enacted. But it's the liberation of creativity and of comedy that'll do justice. You will feel gutted but happy at the same time. It's not like you forget, but you live embracing your past in continuity.

All-in-all, to make a similar (not exact) comparison: Munko's comedy rooted from heavy matters of life, they are real. Yet, they take on lighter notes of how to face and live and resolve them. So, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, I think if you enjoy this series, you might enjoy Munko's work here too.

This manga is the widow of reality

I was going to say "divorced from reality" but then I realized I could tie the saying in to the plot... sort of.

Anyway, even if you accept the premise that this type of move-in is what would happen if a wife "accepted into her husband's family" had said husband die very young, the entire attitudes of everyone at all times completely ignores the sad reality of not just your husband dying young, but for an old couple--a very alert, very active, very aware old couple--to suddenly lose their child before they go themselves.

They just play around. All the time. And somehow, on rare occasion when the author pretends to that there was ever a husband in the first place, it's only the wife that ever needs to be comforted by THE DUDE'S PARENTS. Their kid fucking died! What the fuck. The manga just disgusts me because of how brazen it is. It's obvious that the author's never experienced a real loss, for them to just be able to draw this and use the death of a loved one as a punchline. If I'm wrong I can pretend to be sorry for this analysis, but their wikipedia page at https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%82%80%E3%82%93%E3%81%93 sure doesn't mention a personal life.
