I would give this an 8, but 7.5 due to perm hiatus. It's better than Freezing. Better than Aflame Inferno.

Among his works I think only Unbalance x Unbalance.would top it.

I pray that the ending will never happen....just google for the novel end, it makes you want to burn your volumes and it on youtube.... Ö-ö

I will not read a single work from him anymore until its finisched and i googled for its end...

A major disappointment

1st of all, this is truly shittiest manga I've ever read, not because of the cliche story or cliche character there's a lot of that in manga/manhwa world, but because the character in this world doesn't have any personality or the personality keep changing in short moment, the MC for example was wimpy and suddenly in next chapter became brave, the MC didn't want to help when his live or other close to the death, but when it's not he will help other, the MC act like a loser and next chapter act like a cool man, the MC act all scared and then later in the next page act all casual, the MC act like dumb virgin and next chapter kiss like it all natural, WTF this literary the most fuck up picture book(let's just call that shall we, this thing doesn't even deserve to be called manhwa let alone a comic). The story literary turn personality just so it can advance even when it doesn't make sense, major fail, wrong character in the wrong story? can't advance oh well just make adjustment to the personality shall we.

The battle was extremely boring most of time, with both side chanting for sometimes 3 page and just throw some fireball or shield. Sometimes author will also throw some strange dry joke in the middle of the battle which barely even funny.

Oh men, reading all the review I thought I find a gem, turn out I just find a pile of trash, this thing just made my day turn into sh*t.

Even though beginning was quite trival and the plot went well till that strange ending of part 1. After starting part 2 my first thought was "ohhh man i'm gonna get addicted again xD" (at least till updates stopped :/).

Honesly IMO, Its LIM Dall-Young's last great series

i really love this manga, the art is really great and the story is pretty decent, my main problem with this series at first was the main lead cause its like the author (LIM Dall-Young) loves to make wimpy, weak or useless male characters and at first i thought this was the same but later i was gladly proven wrong and i am really happy about that (although he still has some personality issues to fix any way i really like this and in my opinion this is LIM Dall-Young's last great series going on right now, a lot of his others have finally ended (some in a pretty crappy way to me) and a lot of his new ones are not that exciting to me; freezing is ok but i got a lot of problems with it, so as my last great series with this author i hope this lasts a while and ends well

the whole manga is very nice,nice and simple plot at the first part(1~9 or 10 i think)
the second part is a complete turnover
but i have two major questions two ask:
First y they stopped updating the manga?
And secondly where can i read the novel translated?

A Shift from Shounen to Seinen

People down here just don't understand. If you hate the development that much, then try reading Im Dal-Young other works, so you find out that Maian is the MOST BRIGHTEST and MOST SANE of his works (I can't stand the others: I stopped reading most of them in chapter 3-5. Unbalance and Koimoku are the 'survivors'.).

Well, even if the shifting from shounen-ish and cliché battle-fantasy story of part 1 to the more darker and a 'little' twisted personality from part 2, I think it's just unacceptable because Maian is where Dal-Young put more moderation in the story while it still has Dal-Young's unique story development.

Looks can be decieving

It may seem that a majority of the readers are currently pissed at the series based on the comments, but while part 1 was great, though cliched. part 2 is new and makes a majority of people get angry, I like the series and part 2 gives the characters definition. In the way that normally if a major event happens the way characters act change and not necessarily in a good way. So yeah over all pretty darn good read, and still pretty good.

Weird Ending Part1

Although with a lot of great mage, felicia group very easy lose to diha sion. it's not make a sense.
it's not the stroy i dont like, but how the author execute the end of part 1 is so funny. it's more better if author make battle more long, not just end like that.
i stop reading. because i assume the end would be something like that. and a lot people comment have some argue too
