I can't think of the correct tags to find this one again, and if I get more descriptive it spoils it a bit, the tldr would be the ending is a bit bitter sweet, several of the actual human friends are there for different reasons than just being friends, and the main human is scarier than the doll is. 2x3m4c
would love to find this and read it again.
