True a classic, you know the manga is good when a negative reviewer has mirai nikki at score 10! j3y6y
The manga is a commentary on polution, climate change, etc.
The message of it is:
If you want to save the kids, save the world!
It has some flaws near the end where shoves drama and fix relationships between characters out of nowhere.
The ending is a bit rushed, but the overall idea is very good.
It's a good redemption story.
The ending is the worst part of the manga, it's too slow and convoluted. But it still is a good manga.
It's a simple story, but with excellent levels of world building and characterization.
But at the end the characters turn into mere tools to drive the drawing of sea in the story, so it feels a bit empty, as gorgeous the sea illustrations are it's not enough by itself.
Alibaba drags the manga down, he gets better and then worse multiple times, its ok the first 10 times, but after that its just annoying. And the reason for that is because he is an comic relief, an unfunny one like many of the others in this manga.
Reads more like a shojo romance manga than a shounen romance. Very good overall, even with the rushed ending. The first chapters are a bit slower.
The standard for igarashi daisuke, beautiful art and as preachy about shintoism ideas as always.
The ending is good for the message of this manga.
But holy shit, the mc is insufferable sometimes.
A manga that will be hated for how stupid it is (even if it is on purpose) or be loved to death by 14 year old "intellectuals" that feel superior by reading it.
It's you average story by matsumoto jiro. You have a protagonist with mental illness, and some girls that get raped at some point. I fear that it might be his fetish at this point. But this time he uses this to expose the social situation in a occupied town in the middle of a war, so i guess it makes sense.
It all goes downhill in the end arc, eren character changes abruptly two times, but the worst offender - by far - is Ymir.
She should not have returned at the end, somehow makes the ending more sad than she going away forever
The first chapter is a bit weird, i get the message that's trying to make but it should have been done better, moe is too stalker-like.
The extra (ch.4) is very good, i like the gradual growing interest of the girl as the chapter goes on.
Probably one of the best manga thriller i've ever read... At least for 2/3 of it. The last part of the manga and the ending is not good.
Overall it's good, but the later part, after the black unit arc, the story becomes heavily rushed, with result in an unecessary death and the uncompleted arc of some of the side characters.
Also, in some fights what's happening is so absurdly lucky that throws you off a bit. For most of the fights Haruka is the perfect excuse because she can predict the future, but sometimes it happens even when...
The ending is rushed but it's not conceptualy bad. Kaede in the end is just a cynical woman, who can't really empathize with anyone other than herself.
i guess that's what woman fantasy looks like. A 35+ old woman with multiple sex partners hooking with a naive 19 years old man. I guess women and men are not that different. About the manga, too much melodrama, especially on the cuck wife arc. It get heavy on misunderstanding trope, which is annoying.
the mangaka had the chance do to the perfect ending, all pieces were set. Shiori and kai, and akio and tsumura. But no, need to end with the weird incest ending.
It's pure misery porn, the only happy parts in the manga are a setup for the soul crushing event that will succeed it.
Idk about at the comments calling this realistic, at the begginnig it might have been, but it get less and less as time goes on.
Can't think how to praise this manga, everything is either mediocre or the cringest edgy shit.
By far the worst adaptation of the novel, just watch the anime, it's way better than this version.
